Creative people are in demand here, because design is all about your ideas for shaping the future, finding creative problem solutions and working with and for people. The focus of the course is not only on having you acquire knowledge in the areas of conception, creation, specialist theory and technologies, but also on developing skills for your future professional life, such as team and project work. After one semester of basic theory, you can take up one of nine fields of competence: Advertising Design, Branding Design, Digital Environments, Colour Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, Metal Design & Jewellery, Lighting Design, and Product Design. The variety of subjects and the combination possibilities of the fields of competence in this degree programme are unique in Germany.
