📋 Program Hakkında

The research-oriented master's degree program Microbiology requires students to complete education in areas of general and applied microbiology, medical and pharmaceutical microbiology, virology and agricultural and food microbiology. The program features a high share of practical work and independent project work. All microbiological systems are addressed with a view to systematic, physiological, molecular-biological and genetic aspects. Students learn to independently plan and carry out scientific studies and to document and present scientific results both orally and in written form (also in English). The degree program equips students for microbiological and molecular-genetic work in all areas of employment within classic, molecular, and applied microbiology. Possible career paths include basic research in microbiology, academia, pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology companies, food industry, chemical industry, quality assurance, microbiological diagnostics, teaching and training, public administration, and industry and trade associations.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* University degree (German or non-German) in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, nutrition and food sciences, agricultural sciences, medicine, or a related degree program * Knowledge in microbiology on the level of the Bachelor of Biology in the amount of 5 ECTS credits or equivalent
