📋 Program Hakkında

Modern biotechnology and its interdisciplinary subject areas are key technologies of the 21st century. The research-oriented international master's degree program in Biotechnology allows for a post-bachelor's specialized training in cell biology, microbiology, bioanalytics and Laboratory Diagnostics. In addition to solid theoretical training incorporating the most up-to-date scientific knowledge, the master's degree programme offers an exceptionally high proportion of practical training in modern laboratory methods. Within small project groups students learn to carry out scientific experiments and how to document and present them. The programme is internationally oriented and all courses are given in English. After their master's thesis, which is carried out in national and international research institutions or enterprises, students are qualified to pursue doctoral studies.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: at least a bachelor's degree in the subject area or an equivalent degree * ECTS credits: 210 ECTS credits (for the 3-semester program) or 180 ECTS credits (for the 4-semester program) * Subject requirements: at least 70 ECTS credits or 60 semester hours (SWS) of biological, biomedical, biochemical or biophysical subjects * Practical experience: proof of practical laboratory work of at least 18 weeks * Relevant bachelor programs: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, and research-oriented Human or Veterinary Medicine (with focus on one of the previously mentioned subjects) * Note: Bachelor's degrees in other areas of Human or Veterinary Medicine and in Pharmacy are not accepted * Thesis requirement: Degrees without a thesis or an equivalent publication are not accepted
