The Master of Science in Bioinformatics is a 120 credit point program that combines computer science with biological sciences. The curriculum includes core modules in bioinformatics, along with bridge modules in computer science and biosciences. Students can specialize in various areas including algorithmic sequence analysis, biological networks modeling, data science, machine learning, and genomic analysis. The program offers a wide range of elective modules across informatics, biology, biochemistry, agriculture, and pharmaceutical sciences, allowing students to tailor their studies to their research interests. The program culminates with a Master's thesis worth 30 credit points in the fourth semester.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First university degree (usually Bachelor) in Bioinformatics, Biology or Computer Science (with at least 180 ECTS) or in a comparable computer-mathematical or bioscience-oriented program * Extensive knowledge in the fields of computer science, biology, biochemistry and chemistry must be demonstrated * In exceptional cases, applicants can be admitted if they lack prior knowledge of up to 30 ECTS. In this case, the study and examination committee determines that the missing prior knowledge must be made up before registering for the master's thesis
