📋 Program Hakkında

The minor in Tibetan consists of three language modules (Tibetan I-III). From semester one, students learn both the spoken language and the Tibetan script. In the third semester, they learn classical written Tibetan. Students learn to express themselves in Tibetan and independently read, understand, and reflect on simple texts. Additionally, they acquire intercultural competencies that enable them to study topics across disciplines. The program includes excursions and a Tibet colloquium. This subject must be combined with a second subject. Possible career paths include intercultural communication, international development cooperation, peace and conflict research, international educational work, politics, culture management, tourism, journalism, and academia.
