📋 Program Hakkında

Marine Biology belongs to the most attractive and fascinating disciplines within the natural sciences. It is also one of the most diverse disciplines. More than 70% of the Earth's surface are covered by oceans, and they play a crucial role especially for our climate. Only in the last 50 to 100 years the scientific and technological means have been developed to explore and study this vast ecosystem in detail. Marine biological research is of global socio-economic and political relevance. The program is structured in 4 terms: The 1st Term builds theoretical background and introduces concepts of Marine Biology and related disciplines. The 2nd Term offers elective courses covering various topics and methods, with practical classes and field trips. The 3rd Term allows students to conduct research projects with partner institutions. The 4th Term is dedicated to the Master Thesis.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Oceanography, or a comparable field with at least 180 ECTS credit points * Minimum Grade Required: Minimum grade of 2.5 in previous studies or a current average grade of 2.5 (with at least 135 CP completed) * Non-academic requirements: Motivation letter in English explaining interest in Marine Biology

* English language proficiency at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) * Proof is also provided if applicants have acquired their university entrance qualification or last university degree in English * If the language of instruction of previous studies was English, this will be recognized as language proof on the level C1
