The consecutive Master's program in Architecture follows the claim of a generalist university architectural education against the background of a constantly changing professional profile. The four-semester program enables a deepening and expansion of the knowledge and skills acquired in a Bachelor's program. The core of the Master's study is architectural design. The program includes three projects: Project I - Design and Detail, Project II - Sustainable Design, and an individual design project. The program is recognized according to the architects' laws of the federal states, EU Directive 2005/36/EC, and UNESCO/UIA. Graduates can work in leading positions in architectural offices, in the construction industry, in the building trade, and in building administration, or as independent architects after appropriate practice. The study also provides competencies for independent scientific work, qualifying graduates for activities in the scientific field and entitling them to pursue a doctorate.
