📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's degree course in German Studies with a binational option offers students the opportunity to study German language, literature and culture from an international perspective. The University of Kassel works together with the Hungarian University of Szeged. Students deal with German studies research in an international environment, focusing on cultural studies issues, examining language and literature in a European context, and dovetailing German studies at home and abroad. The program offers a unique opportunity to look beyond national horizons and acquire comprehensive interdisciplinary and intercultural skills. During their studies, linguistic and literary content and research traditions are juxtaposed and reflected upon in a mutual dialog. One focus in Szeged is Austrian literature and culture. The Master's program concludes with a double degree (one certificate from each of the two universities).
