📋 Program Hakkında

International networks are becoming increasingly important for aspiring landscape architects. The European Master in Landscape Architecture (EMiLA) is a joint master's programme created by five leading European universities: The University of Edinburgh/Edinburgh College of Art, École Nationale Supérieure de Paysage Versailles/Marseilles, Amsterdam University of the Arts/Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, Universitat Polytècnica de Catalunya/Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona, and Leibniz Universität Hannover. The curriculum addresses the internationalisation of European planning culture and enables students to develop expertise in different national contexts. Students take part in design projects and courses that combine aesthetic and social-science approaches with scientific and technical insights to tackle complex challenges. The programme is embedded in the existing master's programme Landscape Architecture at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Students study at three European university locations: first semester in Hannover, next two semesters abroad at two partner universities, and then return to Hannover for their master's thesis.

* An application folder must be submitted in addition to regular application documents * The application folder includes a motivation letter and work samples (DIN A4 format) * Recommended abilities: Interest in complex and international design issues, design skills, curiosity, flexibility, self-organisation, teamwork ability, visual/written/oral communication skills, proficient use of CAD and image processing software

* German HZB: English B2 AND another subject-related foreign language (preferably French and/or Spanish) * International application: German C1 AND English B2 AND another subject-related foreign language (preferably French and/or Spanish)
