The MA Film and Television Production program focuses on developing innovative filmmakers and television producers who question existing values and traditions. This master's program emphasizes practical film and television production supported by contextual theory. Students engage with current topics, new trends, and established theories and practices. In the first semesters, students develop technical skills such as camera operation, lighting, sound, editing, directing, and production while working on their own short films or television projects. Collaboration with other students and external contributors is encouraged. The program culminates in a master project where students lead a film or television production as creative directors. Students expand their creative practice, practical portfolio, and explore digital and visual communication theory. They present their work in renowned galleries and gain the intellectual and creative confidence to meet the challenges of the global industry. The program is based on agreed production work, allowing students to propose and develop their own ideas for film and television, with opportunities to work on live projects.
