Romance studies considers Romance languages, literature and cultures. The focus in Spanish is on the Spanish-speaking world. The Bachelor's programme vocational teaching profession in Spanish encompasses literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, and language practice. Literary studies covers literary history of Spain and Latin America, theories and methodologies, and interactions between literature and other cultural systems. Linguistics focuses on the development and analysis of the Spanish language system. Cultural studies analyzes cultural phenomena in the Spanish and Hispanic world. Language practice courses enable students to speak and write correctly and fluently in Spanish.
