📋 Program Hakkında

The master's program "Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (KliPP)" covers key aspects of psychotherapy, psychology and educational science and the key personal and professional skills required in independent psychotherapeutic practice. Graduates can develop psychotherapeutic procedures and pursue their continuing professional development. The program covers a range of research, theory, methodological and practical skills, including patient safety and rights and treatment effectiveness. The program is run by the Department of Psychology (IfP) in cooperation with the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). The course is the prerequisite for award of a license to practice as a psychotherapist in accordance with the Law for the Reform of Psychotherapist Training.

* University degree in psychology with a minimum of 150 ECTS recognized by the Psychotherapists Act (PsychThG) and the Licensing Regulations for Psychotherapists (PsychThApprO) * Specific modules required: Scientific methodology (min.15 ECTS), Psychological diagnostics (min. 12 ECTS), Research-oriented internship I (min. 6 ECTS), General psychology I & II (min. 7 ECTS each), Biological psychology (min. 4 ECTS), Development psychology (min. 7 ECTS), Differential psychology and personality psychology (min. 7 ECTS), Social psychology (min. 8 ECTS), Cognitive affective and clinical neuroscience (min. 4 ECTS), Clinical psychology (min. 16 ECTS), and other specific modules * Orientation internship (min. 150 hours / 5 ECTS) in clinical units * Occupationally qualifying activity I (min. 240 hours / 8 ECTS) in clinical units * Applicants from outside Germany or another EU country must pass the aptitude test for university studies
