The Brückenstudium (Bridge Study) at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is a unique program that allows students to develop and implement their own projects with academic support. It offers a framework for realizing individual projects in science, business, social or creative fields through practical courses, professional support, and a strong network. The program combines practice-oriented learning with scientific foundations, with the student's own project at the center, complemented by seminars, workshops, and individual coaching. Students can earn up to 30 ECTS credits that may be credited toward later studies. The program focuses on project management, personal development, communication & media, business model development, and scientific management.
