📋 Program Hakkında

Biomedical technology works at the interface of engineering, computer science and natural science. The aim is to develop new and improved methods, devices and components for diagnosis and therapy. Information technology is paving the way for personalized and less invasive medicine. The bachelor's degree program in Biomedical Engineering provides students with a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, medicine and technology, followed by application-related knowledge and methodological skills in areas such as imaging techniques or machine learning. The program consists of compulsory and elective areas, covering mathematical-physical fundamentals, electrical engineering, information technology, medical-technical fundamentals, and a medical-technical profiling area. It also includes practical components such as workshops, a clinical excursion, and a mandatory 12-week internship.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training or vocational training with professional experience and aptitude test * For non-EU/EEA nationals with foreign school-leaving certificate: may require university entrance examination and/or successful year of study in home country

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* German language skills at minimum level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) * Good command of English recommended but no formal proof required at enrollment * Accepted German language certificates: passed "Prüfungsteil Deutsch" of the Feststellungsprüfung, passed DSH with overall result DSH-2, passed TestDaF level 4 in all four parts, or comparable recognized certificate
