The Bachelor of Arts in Architecture study program at the Technische Universität München provides a sound foundation in the knowledge and techniques that are required for the fields in which modern architects work today. The study program is project-oriented and takes the form of research-oriented lessons. The overall aim is to provide students with a comprehensive university education that communicates fundamental business skills while simultaneously instilling a sense of responsibility towards the built environment. The program focuses on four main areas: Architectural Design, Integrated Building Technologies, Urban and Landscape Transformation, and Cultural Heritage, History and Criticism. Students are educated in holistic approaches to dealing with complex systems from theoretical concepts to technical components and sustainability issues.

* Selection takes place through an aptitude assessment procedure * The aptitude assessment evaluates the ability to manage the qualitative requirements of the program * Overall secondary school grade is evaluated using a point system * Mandatory written test is required * Final score consists of 50% average school grade and 50% test results
