📋 Program Hakkında

Curating – Communicating – Managing – These three terms span the huge field of digital media and its technologies, for which International Media Cultural Work will qualify its students as superbly imaginative leaders and strategically outstanding executives. During the program, students will focus on media aesthetic education and cultural communication to develop expertise in inspiring society to a deeper and critical understanding of media technologies' cultural implications, as well as their social and ethical philosophical dimensions. The course's practical goal is to encourage society and individuals to use media for skillful self-expression, as well as for creative and emancipatory practices. The program is conducted in English. Its perspective is international and intercultural. The students will work in transdiscipline, collaborative, and experimental environments. The program follows project-based learning principles and includes two main project modules (TMCP 1 & 2), elective modules from two catalogues ("Curating and Communicating" and "Management and Technology"), and culminates with a Master thesis project.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* For 3-semester program: Bachelor's degree or comparable degree with at least 210 CP in digital media, media cultural sciences, or media pedagogy * Minimum Grade Required: Grade point average of 1.9 or better (German standard or equivalent) * For 4-semester program: Bachelor's degree or comparable degree with at least 180 CP in digital media, media cultural sciences, or media pedagogy * Eligible fields: digital media, media design, media informatics and technology, media economics, media studies, cultural management, social pedagogy, social work, design, art history, and musicology * Assessment includes: final grade point average, practical experience, and theoretical knowledge within the field of culture and/or art based on digital media * Applicants with grades less than 1.9 may be admitted on a case-by-case basis through a suitability assessment procedure * For the 4-semester program: Industrial Placement module (internship) is required
