📋 Program Hakkında

The master's program in Chemical and Process Engineering at KIT makes a decisive contribution to the development of technically feasible approaches on the way to a climate-neutral society. The program offers numerous elective options and a research-related teaching program. Students can choose two specialization subjects from an extensive catalog including Applied Rheology, Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering, Fuel Technology, and many others. The curriculum includes Advanced Fundamentals (compulsory), Process Technology, Technical Supplement Course, specialized courses, an internship of at least 3 months, and interdisciplinary qualifications. The program concludes with a master's thesis in the 4th semester.

* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering or a degree program with essentially the same content * Minimum knowledge and achievements in: mathematical fundamentals and programming (at least 20 CP), fundamentals of natural sciences (at least 15 CP), engineering fundamentals (at least 24 CP), thermodynamics & transport processes (at least 20 CP), process engineering fundamentals (at least 12 CP) * Bachelor's thesis or comparable thesis worth at least 12 CP * If minimum achievements amounting to a maximum of 15 CP from a maximum of two areas are missing, admission can be granted conditionally
