📋 Program Hakkında

It studies the interdependencies and interactions between all participants in economic life (the state, companies, private households, consumers) on both a macro- and micro-economic scale, i.e. the levels of political economy and of individual economic units. This subject teaches basic economic concepts and economic thinking based on a methodological, analytical and research-oriented approach. It also introduces students to quantitative methods from key partner disciplines such as mathematics and statistics and provides opportunities for them to develop their own profile through various elective modules. Furthermore, the subject imparts skills enabling students to address economic questions in a methodological and sound manner and, depending on their subject combination, to look at problems of other academic disciplines from an economic point of view. This research-driven program combines methodological and analytical training with fundamental quantitative skills. This subject must be combined with a second subject.
