📋 Program Hakkında

Biyoinformatik Master programı, tıp ve biyolojik bilimlerdeki paradigma değişimini ele almaktadır. Bilgisayarlar, matematiksel modeller ve verimli algoritmalar kullanarak büyük miktardaki biyolojik verilerin değerlendirilmesine odaklanır. Program, öğrencileri matematiksel yöntemleri ve modelleri değerlendirme, ilgili biyolojik soruları tanıma ve sonuçları biyolojik bağlamda doğru yorumlama bilgisiyle donatmak için çeşitli alt disiplinlerde eğitim sağlar. Program, FUB Matematik ve Bilgisayar Bilimleri Bölümü, Biyoloji, Kimya ve Eczacılık Bölümü ve Charité Berlin tıp fakültesinin ortak çabası olup, Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics, Max-Delbrück-Center ve Konrad-Zuse-Center for Information Technology gibi kurumlarla ek işbirlikleri bulunmaktadır.

The master's program in bioinformatics addresses a paradigm shift in medicine and biological sciences. It focuses on the evaluation of masses of biological data using computers, mathematical models, and efficient algorithms. The program provides training in various sub-disciplines to equip students with knowledge to judge mathematical methods and models, recognize relevant biological questions, and correctly interpret results in a biological context. The program is a joint effort by FUB's Department for Mathematics and Computer Science, the Department for Biology, Chemistry, and Pharmaceutics, and the medical faculty of the Charité Berlin, with additional cooperations with institutions such as the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics, the Max-Delbrück-Center, and the Konrad-Zuse-Center for Information Technology.

* First Degree: University degree (bachelor or equivalent) from Germany or an equivalent foreign degree in a higher education program comprising at least six semesters that qualifies to practice a profession * Computer Science, Bioinformatics & Programming Skills: At least 25 credits in computer science modules, with at least 10 credits in modules with knowledge in an imperative programming language (C/C++, Java or Python) and at least 10 credits in algorithms * Mathematics/Statistics: At least 25 credits in mathematical modules, with at least 10 credits in linear algebra or analysis and at least 10 credits in statistics * Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry: At least 25 credits in this area, with at least 10 credits in biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics
