The Bachelor's program in Civil Engineering provides a comprehensive insight into the fields of construction. The focus of the study is on a well-founded and practice-oriented teaching of knowledge in the basic skills of planning, dimensioning, and building. In addition to specialist knowledge, students acquire extensive methodological knowledge and train their leadership qualities and social skills. The basic studies focus on teaching basic construction and technical knowledge; in the main studies, students acquire specialized knowledge in the areas of statics, solid, steel and timber construction, geotechnics, construction operations, transport economics, and water management. The mandatory professional practical semester, usually in the fifth semester, provides for a 20-week activity in a construction company or engineering office, where students apply the acquired knowledge in practice.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* 12-week pre-study practical internship in a craft trade in the construction industry is required * The internship should involve manual activities on construction sites or in production facilities of the construction industry and crafts * Completed training in a craft trade in the main and secondary construction trades is accepted as an alternative to the internship certificate * Technical high school diploma (Fachabitur) with a focus on construction and training as a construction draftsperson are also recognized as alternatives
