📋 Program Hakkında

The dual Bachelor's program in Education and Upbringing (BABE) combines solid theoretical foundations with continuous practical experience in educational institutions. As a practice-integrated distance learning program with regular on-campus phases at Hochschule Koblenz, it enables students to apply and reflect on scientific knowledge directly in their professional activities. This close integration of theory and practice optimally qualifies students for diverse tasks in early education and upbringing. The program prepares students to work with children aged 0-12 years in various settings such as kindergartens, family support services, or foster care services. Students develop expertise in social science and pedagogical foundations, legal frameworks and children's rights, psychological understanding of development processes, professional handling of child welfare endangerment, observation, documentation and evaluation, empirical social research methods, communication and interaction design, and digitalization and diversity in educational contexts.
