📋 Program Hakkında

Embedded Systems Design is a Master's program focused on the development of integrated digital technology and software that determines the function and performance of products and machines. The program covers key areas such as Digital Systems/VHDL, System-on-Chip Design, mechatronic and discrete control systems. Students learn to develop embedded systems in industrial drive and control technology, scientific systems, and technical medical devices. The curriculum includes practical training through laboratory instruction and projects, as well as interdisciplinary skills in project planning, scientific documentation, presentation, and teamwork. The program is structured with foundational courses in the first semester (summer semester), application modules in the second semester (winter semester), and the Master's thesis in the third semester. First semester modules include Mechatronics, Discrete Control Systems, Digital Systems/VHDL, System-on-Chip Design, Model Based Software Development/Real-time Software, and Safety and Reliability. Second semester modules include Industrial Systems, Medical Systems, Maritime Systems, Requirements Engineering, and an Embedded Systems Project. The program concludes with a Master's thesis in the third semester.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree in an engineering study program with 210 credit points (ECTS) and a minimum grade of 2.3 * For applicants with at least two years of relevant professional experience, the minimum grade requirement can be increased by 0.3 * 15 credit points in mathematics/physics * 10 credit points in electrical engineering * 5 credit points in mechanical engineering * 5 credit points in programming languages * 5 credit points in control engineering * Applicants with less than 210 but at least 180 credit points may be admitted conditionally if they complete a practical phase of at least 20 weeks in electrical engineering, mechatronics or computer science

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* English: B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or IELTS or TOEFL or Bachelor's program with English as the medium of instruction * German: A2 level from recognized institutions for applicants whose native language is not German, proven through certificates, proof that German was the teaching language of the previous study, or through proven professional activity in German-speaking countries with German as the working language
