📋 Program Hakkında

Digital Process Engineering (DPE) is a four-semester Master's program aimed at Bachelor's graduates with a solid background in chemical and process engineering or environmental process engineering and a strong interest in the digital implementation of process engineering problems. The foundation of this Master's program is chemical process engineering, which deals with the conversion of raw materials and energy into products through chemical, mechanical, and biological processes. The program consists of bridge modules (elective area 1), mandatory modules, focus areas (elective area 2), elective modules, and the Master's thesis. As an interdisciplinary program, the bridge modules ensure that applicants with different Bachelor's degrees are brought to a uniform level of knowledge in the essential basics. Students with a suitable seven-semester or very suitable six-semester Bachelor's degree can replace the bridge semester in whole or in part with an internship. The mandatory modules from the field of computer science with an interface to mechanical engineering lay the foundations for scientific computing, visualization, and machine learning.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor's degree in (Chemical and) Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or an equivalent foreign degree in a related field * An overall grade point average of at least 2.6 out of 4, with 1.0 as the minimum grade (equivalent to 2.4 in the German grading system) * Sufficient knowledge in the fields of higher mathematics, chemistry, mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, measurement and control technology, process engineering (thermal, particle, chemical, biological) including laboratories, construction of pressure vessels and operation of chemical apparatus
