📋 Program Hakkında

Computational Science and Engineering is a rapidly growing field based on Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. The program aims to develop skills for computer simulations of technical and natural systems in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering as well as Physics, based on numerical methods. The program offers three specializations: Computational Electrical Engineering (CEE), Computational Mechanical Engineering (CME), and Computational Physics (CP). In the first three semesters, students deepen their knowledge in numerical analysis, partial differential equations, and high-performance computing. The 4th semester is dedicated to the master thesis. Numerical simulations allow work in fields inaccessible to conventional testing methods, and as computers become more powerful, the scope for modeling and simulation constantly expands. In many cases, the design process happens entirely within the computer. The degree qualifies graduates for leading positions in engineering or research, or to enter doctoral programs.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Completion of a first academic degree in Computational Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Physics with at least 180 credit points or equivalent qualification * At least 85% of the CGPA or comparable grade or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with at least score 500 * Solid knowledge in mathematics: linear algebra, calculus, numerics and stochastics * Solid skills in a programming language (C/C++, Fortran, Java, Python) and knowledge in computer architecture, operating systems and computer networks * Specialization-specific requirements: - CEE: Electromagnetic Fields and Waves (min 3 credit points), Mathematics (min 18 credit points), Programming/Practical Computer Science (min 6 credit points) - CME: Mathematics (min 18 credit points), Technical Mechanics (min 18 credit points), Thermodynamics (6 credit points), Fluid Mechanics (6 credit points), Programming (min 9 credit points) - CP: Quantum Mechanics (min 9 credit points), Electrodynamics and Optics (min 6 credit points), Statistical Physics (min 6 credit points), Mathematics (min 18 credit points)

* Native language English or * TOEFL IBT: at least score 90 * IELTS: at least score 6.5 * Certificate should not be older than two years
