📋 Program Hakkında

The eight BioEU Master of Science Programmes offer tailor-made curricula according to personal interests. Selecting a particular BioEU Master programme allows students to become specialists in their chosen field of interest. During the master programme, students will be involved in ongoing projects in leading edge research groups either at the university of Würzburg or partner universities. Students may directly continue their research activities in a subsequent doctoral programme in a leading edge environment. The program covers various areas including cell biology, biochemistry, neurobiology, molecular genetics, evolution, ecology, bioinformatics, metabolomics, proteomics, behavior, neuron function, mechanisms of microbial infection, parasitology, tumor development and tissue regeneration.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Bachelor of Science in Biology or in a study programme that fulfills the criteria of the "Subject Specific Criteria for Bioscientific Study Programmes" * Required skills in basic biology: 30 ECTS in total (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, etc.) * Required skills in advanced biology: 45 ECTS in total * Required skills in chemistry: 15 ECTS * Required skills in physics, mathematics, biostatistics: 15 ECTS * Alternative requirements for Molecular Biology focus: 60 ECTS in Biosciences, 20 ECTS in chemistry/biochemistry, 12 ECTS in physics/mathematics/statistics * Alternative requirements for Organismic Biology focus: 70 ECTS in Biosciences, 10 ECTS in chemistry/biochemistry, 12 ECTS in physics/mathematics/statistics * Proof of experimental laboratory experience (minimum 10 ECTS) * An average grade of 3.0 or better (Bavarian grading system)

🗣 Dil Gereksinimleri

* TOEFL: 570 paper-based / 240 computer-based / 90 internet-based * IELTS: 6.5 or better * Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) * Bachelor degree from an English Teaching University * Certificate issued by the admission committee after assessment of English skills * German language skills are recommended but not required
