Academic content This Summer School programme commences by introducing the fundamentals of cyber-physical systems, network infrastructure, innovative sensor systems, and data integration. This foundation aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of data acquisition in an industrial context. Additionally, participants will receive training in programming languages and tools that are commonly used in industrial AI, such as Python, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow (Keras). Thereby, the programme provides an understanding of key AI concepts like machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and time series processing in the context of current and future industrial requirements. In the following weeks, there will be a lot of social events to support the instruction and the course-related activities. At these events, you can get to know the other participants, our beautiful city of Aachen, and the places in the surrounding area. Then during the last days of your stay, you will take a final exam to earn your certificate. At the weekends and after the farewell event, you can take advantage of the short travel distances and discover more of Germany and Europe on your own or with your new friends! Target group: Become part of our international student community if you are: at least 18 years old in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, in between these programmes, or if you recently graduated proficient in the English language It is an advantage if you are in a degree programme related to our programme.
